"The Vision"

Shannon Robinson, owner, and founder of Orion’s Realm, has a strong vision for the store: she doesn’t want you to shop at Orion’s Realm, she wants you to experience Orion’s Realm. Her main goal is to use her own experience to guide and educate others on how spirituality can bring peace and abundance to life. She does this by sharing her experience, listening to their struggles, and helping them to find a way to overcome them. Shannon has had a close connection to the spirit realm from a young age. This interest led her to begin a journey of learning about ancient healing and meditation practices. It was always a hobby for her, but in 2019 intensifying pain and health issues pushed her to learn more about Reiki. While learning, she received several Reiki treatments from Reiki Master and friend, Kayla. She began feeling a strong pull to toward crystal healing, meditation, and mindfulness which led to a deep spiritual awakening. One night, an intense vision came through while she was asleep. In the vision, her spirit guide led her through a beautiful crystalline cave which she later learned was a cave of dumortierite in quartz. The walls were glass-like points of quartz, glistening all around them as they walked. Encased within the crystal projections were light blue flowers of dumortierite, which she describes as “blue fireworks frozen in a shimmering case”. As they continued their journey through the mystical cave, a clearing appeared in the distance. When they got to the clearing, Shannon’s guide looked at her and pointed. She was in awe as she looked down, through parting clouds. Awaking from the vision at 3am that night, she woke her fiancée. “We are going to own a crystal store!” she exclaimed to him. She proceeded to explain to him that she felt she was being called to fulfill a purpose. He was obviously confused and hesitant, but she ran to grab a pen and paper so that she could draw the logo. In this vision, she was told what to name the store, which was very fitting as she has always felt a strong pull toward the constellation Orion. But the store was not the main point of what she was shown. Her guide had shown her that she was being asked to serve a purpose, to help people. Help them to see what challenges lie ahead and how to overcome them, to see how to work with beautiful gifts of nature, how to heal with crystals and so much more. She was asked to learn so that she would be able to guide and educate others through their awakening process. Meditation and mindfulness had not only freed her from the chains of addiction, pain, anxiety, and depression but had helped her to live a more joyous life. Shannon wants nothing more than to help others find the same happiness she has found.
